Visions Unite

Flat out lies are not new; most of us just weren't clued in to how widely they supported a political agenda. Fox News and most anywhere in Rupert Murdoch's empire when it touched news and opinion could be recognized as largely propaganda. But few were actually trying to counter it. The National Enquirer has always been synonymous with made-up articles, as far as I know. It was finding proof of bigfoot at least once a year, I'm pretty sure. But that this complete freedom to make anything up and be put directly in front of people's eyes at the supermarket checkout every time they went shopping was also paired with a reactionary corporate agenda... that's something we should probably have been more aware of, and we cannot afford to let the slap in the face fail to wake us up now.
